As I write this I’m high in the sky flying back to Seattle after a 9 day trip of business and vacation. I can’t tell you how good it feels to have the freedom to travel whenever I want and work from wherever I am.
I filled with so much gratitude. Deep..soulful gratitude.
I have come along way to reach the point where I feel I could take space to truly relax, detach, play and just BE.
As I am buckled up waiting for the plan to take off, I pull out the magazine in the pocket in front of me. The first article that catches my eye is called “Failure is an option”.
This article begins to talk about entrepreneurship and failure. It states “As more of us quit our jobs and become free agents, ultimate success belongs not to the most talented but to those that recover best from their bad luck and their own mistakes”.
I don’t think this magazine could be speaking more directly to me! Just last week I was on the stage in front of a large group of amazing entrepreneurs sharing my journey. It wasn’t success that I wanted to talk about, but the mistakes and roadblocks I had to resolve to get to where I am today.
This is a story I haven’t yet shared with you and those in my tribe. It’s something only my closest friends and family know. At first I was shameful of what I went through, now I see the miracle of the journey.
I see the purpose of my experience was to come out the other end like a champion so I could give inspiration, light and guidance for YOU and those who may be going through the same struggles now.
It also shows that ANYONE can be a successful marketer, which creates a profitable business, but you have to get out of your head and take action.
