How to Kick Your Negative Nelly to the Curb

I have a question for you today – I want to know if you’ve been hanging out with Negative Nelly lately? Watch the video below to see my Negative Nelly in action!

Negative Nelly is that nagging voice in your head that brings you down. It tries to creep up to tell you you’re not good enough – you’ll never be Oprah so why should you even try? Negative Nelly makes you detest all those positive posting people on Facebook. Oh, and Negative Nelly loves cupcakes!

Are you letting your Negative Nelly take control? Well today I’ve got three ways to kick her to the curb…for good!

1. Get your heart pumping! Exercise offers so much more than just physical benefits. It truly is a mood booster! If you’re feeling low, slip on your sneakers and hit the gym – guaranteed you’ll feel a whole lot better after a good sweat session!

2. A green smoothie! A green smoothie a day really does keep the doctor away. Try it with kale (trust me, you’ll love it in a smoothie), spinach, cucumber, celery, strawberries, almond milk and vanilla whey protein powder – delicious and nutritious! YUM!

3. Water! Water is so important and so vital. I keep my water bottle with me on my desk throughout the day. Keeping it handy helps me make sure I’m getting enough H20!

Okay, so those are my three steps to kicking my Negative Nelly to the curb! And remember, as the amazing Zig Ziglar reminds us:

  3. Excellent advice Nelly, I actually love to get my heart pumping everyday for at least an hour and outside if possible! Then after exercise be sure and have your undenatured whey protein shake and yes, yes lots of water!
