I am a very strong believer in writing out goals and also visualization for what you what to achieve. Since I was introduced to the concept of ‘The Secret’ I have regularly wrote out my affirmations, created a vision board and visualized myself already achieving what I want.
Because of practicing and implementing this goal setting method and mindset shift I have achieve a lot in the last few years for being only 28. I purchased my dream car and also landed a career that allowed me to achieve financial success. I however was still missing something big. The freedom to enjoy it! I worked so much I felt like a hamster running around in circles on a wheel. Well I woke up and realized I wanted more, much more! I realized that I was meant to live this life to fore-fill a purpose. Actually we all are but some (sorry to say) are totally lazy or stuck in rut. Well not me!
It’s time to create our future! It starts with a Life Map. I learned this exercise at Jonathan Budd’s Unstoppable Entrepreneur event and loved the project so I completed it at home a few weeks ago. Remember to make your goals and dreams realistic! You want to hold yourself accountable and stay in complete control so you are feeling a sense of accomplishment. Also include timelines and deadlines. I will probably do another one of these in 6 months as my goals will be different depending on what I have completed.
Remember you have the power to create anything you desire. It is time to MAP OUT your future. Visualize what impacts you are going to make. Just like Nike says…just do it!
