Facebook Fans not seeing your posts?

The other week I shared some of the new features of the Facebook Promote Button and how it can be beneficial for growing your Facebook page. If you’re worried that no one will see your posts now unless you pay to promote them, I reminded you not to panic – this is not the direction Facebook is headed. Your reach should remain the same as it currently is, you now just have additional options to extend it.

So what if your current reach is not that great? Are you frustrated that your fans aren’t seeing your posts?

I understand your frustration and will continue to offer you suggestions for improving your Facebook marketing. Today’s suggestion is to help your fans get their news feeds organized, so they don’t miss out on the posts they want to see – including yours!

Fans can do this with just a few steps.

1. Go to the page you want to receive all posts from.

2. Hover your mouse over the “Liked” button to get the drop down menu to appear.

3. Click ‘new list’

4. In the next screen click ‘pages’

5. Select the pages you want to receive posts from. Click next.

6. Next, you’ll name your list and select visibility settings. Hint: if you’re trying to help promote these pages select ‘public’.

And there you have it! You can now view the posts you don’t want to miss on this list.

Note: Since this is an action that must be taken by the fan, there is nothing an admin can do – other than share this blog post if you like.

I hope this helps you and your fans stay connected to all of the Facebook pages they really want to see!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this – please leave a comment here or on my Facebook page!
