Welcome! I’m Devani Freeman. I LOVE marketing! I help small businesses and entrepreneurs on how to grow and market their business using social media and online marketing. The thing is, consumers are using these tools EVERY single day to seek out information and opinions about products and services. It’s easy to throw up a website, but it’s another thing to get people to visit your website and buy what you have to offer. That’s where I come in! I help you to find your voice online and get heard the right way through strategies with Facebook, video, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, blogging, email marketing and much more.
Quick story on how I got started:
My passion for marketing started years ago when I got my foot in the door at a large marketing firm in the Seattle area. I sold yellow page ads, direct mail, SEM and websites. I quickly made it to the top of the company for sales and client retention. I never had any previous experience, seriously! I was just real with people. I was genuinely interested in learning their business model and then finding solutions on how it can grow.
I loved my clients but I started to notice a trend after a while. The company didn’t care much about the clients and if their solutions served them, they were just interested in the numbers and how much we were selling. I quickly caught on and at the same time the new social shift was happing. Left and right businesses were canceling their yellow page ads. It seemed like no one REALLY cared if they were making an impact and I knew, I just KNEW, I had a bigger calling.
In my spare time I started studying this new social shift like crazy. I hired an online marketing mentor and spend all of my week nights and weekends studying, Facebooking, blogging, creating videos and much more. I was so intrigued. What I was learning and implementing is what some call, Inbound Marketing or what I call Modern Marketing. It was brilliant, effective, authentic and most of all fun! I knew EVERY single business owner needs to learn how to market this way. You see inbound marketing is about providing relevant and engaging content to attract your audience. It’s about building a long term relationship through email marketing and social media.
I personally built up an amazing tribe, started generating leads and creating extra income with affiliate marketing. The more I started to learn though, the more I stopped believing in what I was selling at my job. My productivity hit the bottom and I made myself miserable because I couldn’t sell a product and service that I didn’t fully believe in. I knew I HAD to get out fast.

I took the big leap and left the company and started at another more innovative firm as a business developer for their new social platform. Let me tell you, the grass is never greener on the other side! Again, the products were not delivering the results they should be. The company was young and the structure and systems were lacking. I knew I had to start my own company. I wanted to help other business owners and entrepreneurs to understand this new way of marketing authentically and how to grow a tribe of people that love and support your brand. Soon after my company I launched my company and walked away from the Corporate world.
This journey has been incredible and I am so grateful for the amazing and talented entrepreneurs that I attract and get to work with. Never let your mind limit your dreams and never settle if your unhappy! Life is too short.
